What A Weekend!!
It all started Friday afternoon when we drove up to Redfish Lake with our friends the Purcells and the Stubblefields. We spent two great days and nights riding bikes and playing around our camp. The Sawtooth mountains looked incredible and I decided I need to get a camper so I can spend more time in the woods! Saturday night it poured rain- our tent passed the test and we woke up dry! The Purcells had water drip on their heads all night- we felt bad about that. And Sunday was Justin and I's 6th anniversary (I told him it feels more like ten-in a good way) and no better way to celebrate than being at Redfish where we spent part of our honeymoon 6 years ago this week, and at the same camp spot even! Monday we spent the day with the Grandmas. First it was lunch with Grandma Pearl Robison and then to the cemetery so Maddie could see her great grandpa and great great grandparents. When we got there, she asked "where's Grandpa Dell?" I said "Well, he is buried in the ground." She responds "Well, did he get sand in his eyes?". So came the conversation about coffins...Then we had dinner with Grandma Dorothy and after went up to see Grandpa Edd at the Veteran's Cemetery. That was a moving experience with all the American flags in honor of those who served out country. I felt very grateful.

Baby Addiction
I just love babies. The folds on their wrists, the wrinkles on their thighs, the tiny little bums, their melt your heart smiles. I am particularly fond of this little gal! Already four and a half months! It seems there was never a life without her in our family. Okay, and I had to add a mother's day photo to pay tribute to my kids, my sweet husband (who gave me a sweet mother's day), and my mom and mom-in-law who are all so wonderful and thoughtful. Pay no attention to the fact that we wore the exact same outfits on easter! i didn't even realize...loves to all of you.

The Zoo and Grandparents
They are completely unrelated but how else was i supposed to title my post? Grandparents don't belong in zoos! We recently took a trip to the zoo to see the new giraffes and the whole new Africa section. The kids LOVED all of it. We also met Grandma Sheila and Grandpa Bob at Shoshone Falls last Saturday. There was so much water! We spent the night and went up to Hailey and Ketchum the next day. We brought our bikes but it was a bit too cold this time.

Thank You Easter Bunny!
Happy Easter everyone. Here are a few pictures from our Easter weekend adventures. They are pretty self-explanatory. And if you remember from last year, Maddie once again dressed herself in a VERY interesting egg hunt ensemble. Wes was good at throwing his eggs as hard as he could into his basket, and he did not actually carry it around but left it on the patio and would run to his basket every time he found an egg. Such a boy. We sure miss all of you. We asked Maddie if she knew what Easter was all about- she says "It is about Jesus being recognizeded". Yeah, something like that. It is fun having kids and doing the things I have such good memories of when i was little. The only thing missing was the "Ten Commandments" on tv tonight.
